HEAVY DUTY ADMIRAL
HyDrive's Heavy Duty range of precision-made, hydraulic marine cylinders boast a large range of torque capacities, with strength and serviceability second-to-none. Totally constructed from the finest grades of bronze, brass and stainless steel, they are perfectly suited to the harsh marine environment and the punishment of heavy commercial use.

Built with safety margins far in excess of requirements, these cylinders meet all stringent requirement of both CE and International Survey authorities. The ultra-precision of these units also allow their use on heavy catamaran installations with fluid-link circuits, which eliminate mechanical tie-rods where necessary. Field-replaceable glands seals make maintenance possible without removal from their position. Fully articulated, the cylinders are supplied with matching rod-end bolts, as well as a powerful ball-type mounting bracket.

- The above torques are calculated at a system pressure of 1000psi. For safety reasons, HyDrive steering is capable of producing approx. double the torque shown in case of rudder damage or weather extremes.
- The torque figures for dual cylinders are for push-pull circuits only, and not fluid-link circuits. Fluid-link dual cylinders have the same torque and wheel turns lock to lock as a single cylinder.
