The CM8000 series steering
system is a complete integrated power assisted steering
system, built to customer specifications, and suitable
for fishing vessels, work boats and ships up to 10,000
tons.With the steering
station, autopilot, compass, electro hydraulic controls
and alarms mounted in the CM8800 steering stand, installation
is easy and neat taking up minimal room in the wheel
house.
The CM8000 is made
up of the following components:
- CM8800 steering stand: CM880 autopilot, GPS
compass, wheel steering, jog lever steering,
rudder angle meter, hydraulic control panel,
and alarm panel. The CM8800 is mounted in the
wheelhouse and can be built to customer specifications.
- CM8100 control panel: Mounted in the engine
room, the CM8100 is the interface between the
steering stand and hydraulic steering system.
It contains power supplies, switching relays
and other interfaces to the steering system.
- CM8200 power steering system: An electro hydraulic
steering system available with single or dual
pump and motors, single or dual hydraulic cylinders
and emergency hand steering back up. The CM8200
is built to customer specifications.
- CM8300 remote alarm panel: This is an option
that can be fitted in the Captains cabin to
keep him informed of any alarm situations that
may occur with the steering system
